iTunes 6.0 ![]() Homepage Before install iTunes you must set the virtual desktop to 1024x768 in winecfg. Now type wine itunessetup.exe You will get a message from the installer. Click on 'Ok' to quit the installer. There will be a new subdirectory in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/Downloaded Installations. In my case that was {872653C6-5DDC-488B-B7C2-CF9E4D9335E5}. In this directory you will find install programs for Quicktime and iTunes. First you must install Quicktime, so cd into the directory and type wine quicktimeinstaller.exe After that install iTunes: wine itunessetup.exe. After the installation is ready download userenv.dll and copy it to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32. Set iTunes to use a virtual desktop in winecfg. Type wine itunes.exe in the installation directory to run itunes. Notes: The installation might take a very long time. I have not tested the iPod. Burning cds does not work. |
